Yasmin Darch is a Principal Planner specialising in retail, leisure and commercial development, with more than six years' planning experience in the private sector. She joined Nexus in 2026 and advises local authorities, developers and landowners on planning strategy, retail planning policy and development proposals across England.

Yasmin has extensive experience preparing sequential assessments, retail impact assessments and planning strategies for retail and leisure developments. She also advises on planning applications, asset management initiatives and the delivery of complex phased developments.

Yasmin previously held planning roles at Montagu Evans, DP9 and MRPP, where she worked on a wide range of major commercial, mixed-use and regeneration projects, including Battersea Power Station, Silvertown Quays, Brentford Town Centre, Bicester Village and retail developments for Marks & Spencer.

She is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
