Oliver Bell is a Regional Director leading the Reading office, with extensive experience advising on strategic land promotion, major residential development and employment schemes.

Having been part of Nexus since the company was established, Oliver leads complex planning projects involving strategic site promotion, planning applications, appeals and Local Plan representations. He also has significant experience acting as an Expert Witness at planning appeals.

Prior to Nexus, Oliver worked in Development Management at both Woking Borough Council and Guildford Borough Council.

His experience includes residential-led urban extensions, mixed-use developments and employment schemes, including film studio proposals within the Green Belt and on brownfield land.

Oliver advises a wide range of clients including Hawridge Strategic Land, Catesby Estates, Taylor Wimpey Strategic Land, Amazon Digital and Oxygen Studios.

He is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
