Tony Clements is an Executive Director and leads the Reserved Matters sector team across the business.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the public and private sectors, Tony specialises in residential planning and has advised a wide range of national and regional housebuilders, developers and public sector organisations throughout the country.

Tony joined in 2021 to establish the South West office in Bristol, which has since grown into a team of 12. He is highly experienced in strategic land promotion, planning applications, reserved matters and the delivery of major residential developments, alongside acting as an expert witness at planning inquiries and Local Plan examinations.

Tony has held senior leadership roles at Rapleys LLP, GL Hearn, RPS and the Development Planning Partnership. Earlier in his career, he worked in development management and planning policy roles within local authorities in the Midlands and South East.

Tony has advised clients including Crest Nicholson, Taylor Wimpey, Vistry Group, Barratt Homes, Persimmon Homes, CALA Homes, Gleeson and Hallam Land. He is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
