Joanne Jones joined as an Associate Director in 2022 and has over 20 years’ planning consultancy experience in a range of sectors, including strategic land promotion, housing delivery and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) coordination.

She leads on the coordination and management of Environmental Statements across the business and advises clients on planning strategy, site promotion and major planning applications. She works primarily in the South East, London and the East of England.

Joanne's experience includes residential and residential-led development projects for developers, land promoters and housebuilders, alongside employment, education and film studio schemes. She also advises on the planning potential of sites and the promotion of land through the Local Plan process.

Prior to Nexus, Joanne worked at Ipswich Borough Council before moving into consultancy roles at Roger Tym & Partners, Peter Brett Associates (now Stantec) and Pegasus Group. She is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
