NAR worked with the London Borough of Croydon to analyse the borough’s major open spaces - in terms of footfall and dwell-time - in order to understand which spaces should receive protected status within the Local Plan.

Our role

We sourced and analysed empirical Mobile API data from Apple and Google to help provide up-to-date data for each open space and guide our qualitative and quantitative recommendations.

Outcome

The study provided up-to-date data for each open space and helped guide qualitative and quantitative recommendations on which spaces should receive protected status within the Local Plan.
