Andrew has over a decade of experience working in both the public and private sectors. He has a proven track record of delivering major mixed-use, city centre regeneration schemes, including tall buildings, as well as strategic residential development on greenfield sites.

Andrew is particularly skilled in the fields of project management and negotiating complex mixed-use development schemes in constrained urban locations. This includes complex Section 106 agreements, affordable housing and phasing arrangements. He is particularly experienced in managing teams of consultants to tight deadlines.

A notable success was to obtain planning permission for the redevelopment of Smallbrook Queensway, in the heart of Birmingham city centre. Addressing some particularly contentious issues of heritage and townscape, Andrew helped secure the replacement of a locally listed building with a 26-storey residential tower and 14,000 sqm of office floorspace.

His recent clients include the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority, CEG, Homes and Communities Agency, Solum Regeneration, Frontier Estates and Inland Homes.

Andrew is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
