Peter has over 40 years of wide-ranging experience in senior leadership and practitioner roles across the built environment. Having served as Chair of Nexus Planning since 2014, Peter combines leading industry expertise, strong business development skills and exceptional client, stakeholder and political awareness with an influential market presence.

Previously in his career, he spent 12 years in the public sector as both a Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Surveyor. He joined Donaldsons LLP to advise public sector clients on major development projects becoming Chief Executive in 1999 and oversaw its rapid growth and international expansion until its acquisition by DTZ in 2007.

Following two years as DTZ Operations Director, Peter joined West Northamptonshire Development Corporation. In this role he was at the forefront of delivering major regeneration schemes in Northampton, Daventry and Towcester.

Peter now combines chairmanship of Nexus with a portfolio of non-executive and advisory roles across property, planning, development and regeneration.
