Oisin McGillion joined in 2026 as an Assistant Planner in the Reading office, having completed an Integrated Master's Degree (Planning, Regeneration and Development) at Ulster University Belfast.

He supports colleagues across a range of planning projects, assisting with planning applications, site research, policy reviews and the preparation of supporting information to help guide development proposals through the planning process.

Oisin previously gained experience with the Northern Ireland Civil Service’s Mapping and Modelling Team, where he worked with GIS systems and flood risk mapping across Northern Ireland. He also worked with MBA Planning in Belfast, supporting planning applications through planning history research, data collection, site assessments and impact assessment work.

Alongside his academic studies and professional experience, Oisin has developed a particular interest in regeneration, mixed-use development and planning appeals. He is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has volunteered on community environmental improvement projects in Northern Ireland.
