Chathurani graduated from the University of the West of England (UWE) in 2023 with a Masters in Urban Planning following her degree in Town and Country Planning at University of Moratuwa.

Chathurani joined Nexus Planning in June 2023 with four years’ experience in urban planning an international development under international donors including United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Chathurani is particularly interested in gaining experience at Nexus in large scale strategic residential schemes. She is currently assisting with updating a policy tracker of several Local Planning Authorities for Nexus Planning.
