Chathurani Vithanage is a Planner specialising in residential development and strategic land projects across the South West of England. She joined the team in 2023 and has experience across the residential, retail, and research and analytics sectors.

Chathurani has supported projects ranging from smaller residential schemes to large-scale strategic developments. Her work includes site appraisals, planning strategy advice, local plan representations, planning application coordination and preparation of evidence relating to housing land supply and infrastructure needs, alongside GIS mapping to support planning submissions.

Chathurani previously worked in the international development sector on sustainable development projects funded by organisations including the United Nations Development Programme and the Asian Development Bank. She also has experience in academic research.

Chathurani holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of the West of England, and a Bachelor’s degree in Town and Country Planning from the University of Moratuwa. She is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
