Our people
Our team, working together with you to create positive impact projects.
We're very mature for our age.
Established in 2013, in just seven years we grew from our inception, to the UK’s Town Planning Consultancy of the Year 2020.
Growth to us is not all about size (although that has happened also), it’s primarily about the growth of our people, the connections we make, and the maturity of our approaches.

In 2019/20 we became the first planning consultancy in the UK to become Carbon Negative, thanks to our Carbon Working Group.

SOME KIND WORDS
Nexus was employed by the Council to prepare its 2019 Retail and Leisure Study. The report was completed in early 2020, since then we have utilised Nexus for ad hoc advice on planning application matters, and provide advice as we near our Plan Examination. Their work has been thorough and timely at all stages, communications are quick and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend their services to other Councils.Sharon Mossman, Deputy Director of Planning, Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council
Morbaine has worked with Nexus for some time and continues to be impressed by their overall professionalism and approach. Their quality of work is exceptional, they are also extremely flexible in responding to specific needs of each commission/project. In all situations, we have found Nexus extremely adaptable and always delivers. Even when time is of the essence, the quality of the output never suffers. ‘The individuals we deal directly with are very personable, approachable and reliable. They don’t just give us the support we require, but are extremely adept at working proactively in our best interests. This type of client/consultant relationship is refreshing and invaluable. Keith Nutter, Director of Planning, Morbaine Limited
Nexus Planning made a very valuable contribution to our work at Sale West, both as planning consultant and through their leading role in our programme of community engagement. Nexus demonstrated first-hand knowledge and experience of consultation techniques and a range of approaches were used to engage with our residents, including walkabouts and workshops. Nexus showed real commitment and flexibility in working with the project team and engaging with the local community. They demonstrated a willingness to listen and engage positively with the community and stakeholders, and to reflect those outcomes in the master planning strategy. The quality and depth of engagement was an important component in the delivery of the planning permission. Rhian Stratton, Project Director, Irwell Valley Homes
Nexus Planning produced a high-quality document that told the story of the Village and its potential. The Framework was well received by the community and was acknowledged by the Council's Executive to be an exemplar of community led regeneration. The Framework has formed the basis for Manchester City Council's bid to Government for phase 1 levelling up funding.Martin Saker of Manchester City Council
