About Us
Trusted independent town planning advisors
Since our formation in 2013, we have been delivering a comprehensive range of planning services and analytical research to public and private sector clients across the UK and Ireland. Using our expertise, relationships and influence, we deliver outcome-driven planning solutions for our clients.
Our team of more than 50 professionals operates from office hubs in Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester and Reading – providing us with national coverage and regional expertise.
We promote a collaborative approach with both our colleagues and clients. Internally, this ensures that we can maximise our collective intelligence and expertise, whilst fostering a supportive and inclusive culture. Externally, our collaborative client partnerships create positive and long-term relationships that ultimately deliver better client outcomes.
Carbon Neutral Plus
We recognise the importance of reducing our environmental impact and are committed to operating our business responsibly. We measure our carbon emissions annually and work with Carbon Footprint to reduce emissions wherever possible, before offsetting the remainder. This has enabled us to achieve 'Carbon Neutral Plus' status – the equivalent of carbon negative. This means we are now taking more carbon out of the atmosphere than we emit.
Social Value
We are committed to creating social value in the way we manage our business, support our team and engage with our clients and communities.
We provide meaningful support to causes close to our heart, coordinated by our Social Value team. Much of our professional work relates to the delivery of new homes, and we understand the importance of housing to people’s security and wellbeing.
We recognise the importance of secure housing to people's wellbeing and quality of life.
Each of our regional teams works with a local housing or homeless charity (such as Robes Project in London, Mustard Tree in Manchester, Launchpad in Reading, St Basils in Birmingham and Caring in Bristol). These partnerships allow us to make a small contribution to a big issue, through activities ranging from working at food banks, allotment digs, sleepouts and pro-bono planning advice.
As a business, we also support a national charity each year, often through a business-wide fundraising challenge. We recently supported Habitat for Humanity- a charity fighting poverty and homelessness.
We are committed to supporting the next generation of planners and encouraging a more diverse range of entrants into our profession. We regularly provide placements for college and university students, and support careers advice and mentoring initiatives.
Our commitment to social value is embedded in our ISO14001 Environmental Management System.
Health and Wellbeing
Supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our colleagues is a priority. Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Group leads a proactive programme that promotes a flexible, positive and supportive working environment.
Working with Mental Health First Aid England, we have qualified Mental Health First Aiders in each of our regional offices.
