He has worked for and advised a range of local authorities, inside and outside of London and has worked for the Planning Inspectorate determining planning appeals as a Planning Inspector. As a result, he is particularly able to identify and resolve the key issues presented by development proposals for private and public sector clients and is able to establish important relationships with stakeholders in the planning process.

He has extensive experience of project managing large scale, strategic, complex and/or controversial development proposals including stakeholder liaison, leading project teams and handling s106 negotiations. His strategic infrastructure experience includes advising local authorities on the HS2 railway.

Nik is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
