Rob specialises in the retail, leisure, residential and commercial sectors and has led large mixed-use schemes for a number of private sector clients across the UK and Europe. This work includes initial site finding exercises, the preparation of detailed census-based assessments, application discussions with local planning authorities and project realisation.

He has also produced a number of district-wide retail, leisure and hotel studies for local authorities throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as conducting peer review audit work on behalf of a number of authorities.

His recent clients include Berkeley Homes, City of London Corporation, Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd, Travelodge, Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Thornsett Group Plc and Titan Property. In addition, Rob has also worked with over 40 local authority clients including five authorities in Northern Ireland, Wakefield MBC, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire District Council and the South-West Hertfordshire Councils.

Rob is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has been appointed as a Planning Expert to the Government’s High Streets Task Force.
