Elisabeth Pywell is an Associate Director with extensive experience advising on planning strategy, land promotion and development management projects across the UK, with a particular focus on the Midlands.

Elisabeth works with public and private sector clients on planning strategies, Local Plan representations, and the coordination of major and minor planning applications. She joined Nexus in 2025 from CBRE, where she advised on a broad range of residential, education, regeneration and infrastructure projects.

Her experience includes advising residential developers, education providers and infrastructure clients on projects ranging from strategic land promotion through to detailed reserved matters submissions. Elisabeth has also supported planning appeals and estate-wide planning strategies. Recent clients include Crest Nicholson, the University of Warwick and Spitfire Homes.

An award-winning planning consultant, Elisabeth received the WeAreTheCity Rising Star Award in 2020 and the Midlands PROPS Rising Star Award in 2023. She is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, an RTPI APC Assessor and a member of the Women in Planning National Mentoring Committee.
