Roger is one of the founding directors of Nexus Planning. He has over 30 years’ experience in the development industry, twelve of which were in the public sector where he was involved in public policy and major development implementation.
He started his career at Birmingham City Council's Urban Development Department in the early 1980's, moving to the policy team at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in 1990. He moved to global architecture company Broadway Malyan in 2000 where he held the position of main board director.
He currently advises a wide range of public and private sector clients on major mixed use projects throughout the UK. These range from major strategic housing led schemes in the Midlands, the South East, the South West and Yorkshire, together with significant housing-led regeneration projects in London and Birmingham. Roger is a keen supporter of new settlements and strategic large scale urban extensions.
His recent clients include CEG, Gleeson Developments, Taylor Wimpey, Croudace Homes and Rydon Group.
Roger is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
