Nik is a chartered town planner and has a strong background in providing town planning consultancy support and advice to clients in the public and private sectors, with a particular focus on complex and/or controversial planning applications and appeal hearings and public inquiries.
His experience includes working as a Planning Inspector for the Planning Inspectorate where he determined planning appeals. He has also provided advice on matters relating to the HS2 railway line, as well as providing development management and appeals support to a range of LPAs.
His strong local authority background has provided him with an excellent understanding of the mechanisms and processes that underpin the planning system and his ability to build effective relationships quickly means that he can assist in developing strategies to overcome planning challenges for clients in all sectors.
Nik is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
