We were thrilled to have received planning permission for an exciting mixed-use neighbourhood scheme in Runcorn this week. Approved by Halton Council in Cheshire, it will see the demolition of a long-vacant office building to make way for 144 apartments, nine townhouses, a 66-bed care home and an 85-bed hotel.
Of the 144 apartments, 36 will be designated as affordable with residents having access to a range of amenities including a gym, activity room and informal working area.
The extensively landscaped development, which is adjacent to the town’s main retail centre, will include a garden terrace and allotments for the care home while the apartment building will have a green roof for wildflowers to grow.
