We are delighted to have started the new year with appeal success on behalf of Inland Limited in securing approval for new youth football pitches and associated clubhouse, parking and ball strike fencing (due to the location adjacent to the M40) at Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire following a Hearing at the end of last year.

Whilst the scheme itself was more modest in scale, the planning policy issues were particularly complex due to the Green Belt location and ties to the wider Wilton Park redevelopment, a residential-led scheme on a former MoD site providing for a new community on the eastern edge of Beaconsfield. The approval provides for replacement and enhanced facilities to those previously required to be delivered at Wilton Park and, in doing so, provides a permanent home for Beaconsfield Town Youth Football Club which has substantial community membership from across Beaconsfield, as well as freeing up developable land at Wilton Park.
