As the retained planning consultants of the University of Chester, we were tasked with preparing Development Frameworks, providing advice on acquisitions and securing multiple planning permissions for a variety of schemes.
Throughout our time working with the University of Chester, we have employed a broad range of innovative solutions to ensure we provide high-quality planning advice on each project. These have included managing Conservation Area constraints, mitigating the negative impact of houses in multiple occupation and brokering a strong working relationship between the University, Cheshire West and Chester Council and other key partners.
These actions have been consistently underpinned by extensive stakeholder engagement. At every stage of each planning and development process, we have consulted with relevant parties to ensure that their views are heard and concerns addressed.
Our notable achievements include securing planning permission for the New Build Food Resources Education Centre and a 200-unit student block, preparing the University’s Development Framework and providing advice on the acquisition of the Thornton Campus in Ellesmere Port.
