We were appointed by Fairacre Property to submit a number of strategic planning applications to promote their commercial property assets in Nelson Town Centre, located in Lancashire.
As part of this project, we submitted a full planning application for the demolition of Pendle Rise Multi-Storey Car Park, including a method statement setting out the proposed restoration of the land. We also liaised with Pendle Borough Council and key consultees and advised on matters related to the submission of a demolition notice (Section 80 Notice). In addition, we also consulted directly with Network Rail to ensure their operations next to the Site would be protected.
On the back of the successful applications, we have continued to work with Fairacre Property, who are keen to add value to Pendle Rise Shopping Centre, by providing planning strategy advice and securing planning approvals. This includes a successful change of use application for a vacant retail unit to be converted into a coffee shop.
