We were instructed by Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust to prepare a Site rationalisation strategy to support the disposal of surplus high value assets. The purpose of this work was to support the Trust’s policy for the consolidation of child and adolescent mental health services within the London Borough of Westminster.
In preparing the site rationalisation strategy, we successfully engaged with local planning officers and councillors at Westminster City Council from the outset. In doing so, we secured their approval and unlocked development potential in otherwise constrained sites. We then went on to submit applications for the redevelopment of surplus sites.
Planning permission was successfully secured for the redevelopment of two Sites for residential purposes in Paddington and St Johns Wood, enabling the Trust to maximise capital receipts resulting from their sale.
