We were appointed by a consortium of developers to identify and secure an allocation in the draft Local Plan for the Burgess Hill Northern Arc. This represents a major strategic site, of 3,000 new homes, sporting facilities, primary schools, a secondary school and other associated provisions.
In developing detailed proposals for the schemes, we closely engaged with a variety of key stakeholders including the District Council, County Council, statutory bodies and members of the public. In addition, we devised an infrastructure delivery plan to coordinate the delivery of new roads, schools, open space and other key infrastructure across a number of sites within the allocation area.
We successfully secured the Site allocation in the recently adopted Local Plan and the Site has subsequently acquitted by Homes England who will be taking the development forward on a phased basis.
