We were appointed by a small consortium of developers and housebuilders to provide housing needs evidence for the Buckinghamshire authorities. In support of multiple greenfield strategic land promotions within Buckinghamshire we were appointed to provide evidence and sub-district settlement analysis of market and affordable housing needs.
We undertook a critical review of the Buckinghamshire housing needs evidence and underpinned by our own assessment of housing needs within Buckinghamshire and the respective local authorities, we prepared sub-district spatial evidence to apportion the overall housing needs to individual settlements.
We submitted detailed housing need evidence to the emerging Buckinghamshire Local Plans as they progress through the plan-making process. The Aylesbury Vale Local Plan Inspector had already concluded that the housing figure for Aylesbury Vale needs to be increased further to help address worsening market signals.
