Amy has undertaken a broad range of project work in both the public and private sector and has secured planning permission within a large variety of sectors across the country

Her knowledge and expertise has provided her with skills in project management, public consultation, policy analysis, detailed feasibility studies and experience of applications from instruction to completion.
During her time at Nexus, Amy has developed a specialism within the education sector. Her education experience includes working on a total of 20 schools/ higher education buildings across the UK with 10 located in London Boroughs. One of Amy’s key clients is the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) which is the UK’s leading family of independent girls’ schools offering 23 schools and 2 academies across England and Wales. She also has extensive experience managing and delivering education projects for the Department for Education (DfE). The schemes focus on the efficient delivery of high-quality schools through Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
Amy is particularly passionate about this sector and works closely with the project team to deliver high-quality school projects that enhance the education offer across the country. She has particularly enjoyed being involved in projects that improve the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) learning offer for girls – encouraging women into STEM careers, a sector that has historically been significantly dominated by men.
Amy is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and also sits on the NLA Education Expert panel.
