We are delighted to have secured full planning permission, on behalf of Inland Homes, for 50 dwellings on land to north of High Wycombe. The application was approved by the Buckinghamshire West Area Planning Committee.
The site was located within the Green Belt and is located within the Chiltern’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nexus Planning successfully promoted it for release from the Green Belt and allocation for housing through the Wycombe District Local Plan (2019), with the Local Plan Inspector concluding that the site performed weakly against the Green Belt purposes and that its removal from the designation would not adversely impact the wider designation.
The approved development includes almost 50% affordable homes and is underpinned by a landscape-led approach, including 25% canopy cover and the delivery of a Biodiversity Net Gain.
